The Etruscan era was comprised between the 8th and 3rd centuries in central Italy before the start of the Roman Empire. Etruscan jewelry is characterized by its abundance- detailed, heavy gold pieces combined with an array of color gemstones. The Etruscans loved color; faience, colored gemstones and glass beads are therefore often decorating their work.
